StreetRoutes plays your route in real Street View, from start to door: the buildings, shop fronts, crossings and the entrance you're looking for. Drive, walk or bike it before you go. Free, no sign-up.
How it works
Three steps, about a minute.

Watch the route in Street View. It stops at each corner, shows the turn, and ends at the door. Tap to pause.

See the whole street, not just a line on a map
StreetRoutes plays your route in real Street View, from where you start to the door you want, so the real trip already feels familiar.
A map shows a line. StreetRoutes shows the street.
A blue line between two dots. Which corner? Which door? You find out on the day.
The buildings, shop fronts, crossings and the entrance itself, in real street photos, turn by turn.

What makes it different
Google's own street photos along your exact route, not a drawing.
It slows, stops at the junction, shows the turn, then swings round like a sat-nav.
The last view faces the entrance you're looking for.
No sign-up, no ads, no tracking. Kept running by small tips.
Questions
Is this navigation?
No. StreetRoutes is a preview to watch before you travel. Never use it while driving.
Where do the pictures come from?
Google Street View and Google Maps. Some places (private roads, estates, some countries) have no street photos yet.
Why is it free?
StreetRoutes runs on paid Google Maps and Street View services. A small shared daily allowance keeps it free for everyone, and tips from people who find it useful keep it running and maintained.
What does "today's free routes have run out" mean?
Each day there's a shared allowance, plus a fair share for each connection. It resets every day. You can also use your own Google key (⚙ in the top corner).
Privacy
No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Addresses you type are sent (through StreetRoutes' server) to Google to find routes and places; StreetRoutes doesn't keep them. To prevent abuse, the server counts requests per visitor with an anonymous code that changes daily and is deleted after 2 days. Your settings (and your own key, if you add one) stay in this browser only. See Google's Maps Terms and Privacy Policy.
