Google Maps API key

This app runs on your own Google Maps key. It is saved only in this browser.

Open Google Cloud Console → Maps Platform and create a project (billing must be enabled; the monthly free usage covers personal use).
Enable Maps JavaScript API, Routes API and Places API (New) (for address suggestions).
Go to Keys & Credentials → create an API key. Restrict it to those APIs and to your website address.

Scan this with your phone's camera. StreetRoutes opens with your key already filled in.

Cost per page visit ≈ 1 map load + 3 Street View loads (extra ones preload the next photos so playback stays sharp) + 1 route request per route, about $0.05 after the free monthly allowance. Moving along the route is free.
